Name: John Pacer Source: unca20090603.htm Hi there everyone. I just had a thought after reading Harlan's essay and figured I'd offer a possible solution to the problem of catching germs from the great unwashed, particularly at signings where it's large groups of people you're dealing with. My solut...

Preacher is out of control. I don't wanna say it goes too far, but it definitely goes over the top. Not much else like it in comics. It has a couple of slow spots, but when it's on, it is on.

I would also recommend Y: The Last Man.

It was also way too far fetched, in terms of the plethora of unbelievable action sequences. The other three movies were fantasies too, but they maintained some level of believability in the derring-do which is what made them so hugely entertaining. This one went completley overboard in the action s...

I remember watching the Young Indy show as a youngster. I saw at least 10 episodes, but not all of them. I see now that the History International channel is replaying them and they're also being released on DVD. Did anyone see the entire series? Is it worth picking up? I seem to remember being kind ...

This is why I need to check this board more often. I live in Philly. I actually live two blocks from Pat's and Geno's. Although I do agree that Tony Luke's is the best. They make a helluva chicken cutlet sandwich as well. But I am a whiz man. The flavor of Provolone seems to get lost and to get Amer...

Indiana Jones

I'm sure everyone knows there's a new Indy movie coming soon. I'm skeptical mainly due to the fact that Harrison's gettin' kinda old and hasn't done anything fairly decent since "The Fugitive," but that's beside the point. I'm bringing Indy up because of the discussion on the other board a...

Name: John Pacer Source: unca20071217.htm Susan, I dont know if this will help, but when I did a YAHOO search for Jordan Maxton, I found a link to an e-bay sellers page where some guy was selling a PlayStation 3. Heres the link: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Sony-PlayStation-3-60-GB-Console-used-for-5-hour...

The craziest thing about this "Burgomeister" character is that he actually asks for donations. "Give me your money as I steal from these creators." This guy is a genuine Asshole.

Rob, *I* drop in sporadically. You're here all the time. Considering how much you contributed to this thread, I found it hard to believe you completely missed that post. I WAS thinking on my own. At least I thought I was. Good thing you're here to help me out. I think from now on, whenever I need to...

Rob, you were part of this thread from the beginning. How could you not have noticed Jim essentially saying that if he were Samswope he would've plunged the ship straight down to Earth in a final "Fuck You?"

Me doth think the lady protest a bit too....

Oh, fuck it. I don't care.

When I read the Abridged Discarded script I thought it was making fun of the people who were criticizing the episode, not the actual script by Harlan and Josh. All of the jabs, such as crashing the ship into earth, were ideas taken from this very forum and showing how ludicrous those ideas were. Tha...
