Re: Whatcha listening to?

I recently bought a CD by a chap called Professor Elemental. Steampunk rap, or chap hop. Its great. Mixing old Victorian era recordings with a modern twist. Lyrics tend to be about exploration adventures, being British and the drinking of tea. But its really well done, very clever and damned funny. ...

Re: Depression

Well I was right about one thing.... She did sneak something into the agreement. This time to do with contact with my son. She wants me to have him a full weekend a month. That is in fact every weekend off I currently have. That is no a case of me blowing things out of proportion. That is a fact. No...

Re: Depression

It seems she is ready for yet another one of her "offers". Got a message from her stating so anyway. I wonder what she is going to try and sneak into it this time. :( Anyway, if nothing else at least I may have a full and final settlement before christmas. That would be a great weight off ...

Re: Depression

I am seriously thinking of having a witness next time she wants to discuss matters. Just so I have a witness that an agreement was reached and the exact wording of the agreement. Its either that or I request a meeting with lawyers present. Not a good idea as it seems to be get lawyers instructing he...

Re: Depression

in the UK if she were to sign anything it means nothing if she can claim she did so without seeking legal advice. However, is Scotland a verbal agreement is regarded as legally binding and a "gentlemans agreement". WHich is a bit confusing. So far we have reached agreements three times. Th...

Re: Depression

Seem to be taking two steps forward and one back right now. The lunatic I am divorcing keeps moving the goal posts on what we agree for the financial settlement. And usually after I agree to whatever she has demanded. So I am now forced back to square one, and the possibility of fighting through the...

Re: Depression

Personally I am of the philosofy "When life gives you lemon, make life rue the day it gave you lemon. Make them take the damned lemona back and shove them somewhere obscene" Lets face it, all those motivational lines are written by people who have never in their life had to deal with the k...

Re: Depression

My boys doing fine. He still says he wants to live with me. WHich is almost impossible. Plus the advice I am getting suggests it could be harmful to him. So he'll be with his mother. I am doing ok too. Just waiting for someone to show some interest in buying the house. Got a place I really would lik...

Re: Depression

My personal black dog seems to be staying away. If he comes near me again I am going to shoot the beast. Think I finally have the divorce settlement agreed. Not great for me but enough to let me rebuild. House is on sale now but its a bad time to sell. Just before Christmas and the market is in a ba...

Re: Depression

Steve I would disagree. After all a problem shared with people who understand is a problem that is halved. All of us have our black dogs. And to be honest if it werent for the support of evreyone here, I dont know if I could have survived mine. But if its just venting that is required, then maybe th...

Re: Greetings from Scotland

Well I only have to survive three more 10 hour shifts, two sleeps and a two hour drive on Saturday. Piece if cake. Seriously though, I am really looking forward to this weekend rather than dreading it. Only one down side. Going to miss Doctor Who! Its being recorded though. Feeling nervous but happy.

Re: Greetings from Scotland

Well folk, the divorce is moving forward. Think we have reached a financial agreement for the proceeds of selling the house. Not a great one for me but acceptable if nothing else. As for me? Suprisingly chipper. Feel good in a lot of ways. Been talking to rather splendid lady on phone and getting on...

Re: Depression

Lori I have done that. And told my lawyer about it, he said I should avoid posting anything myself and what Andy said can be used as evidence. The sad thing is that my son is telling me all the shit that Donna does and it tears me apart. The woman I loved for 8 years is gone now. What is there is a ...

Re: Depression

Well it gets better and better. My son informed me that he went into her bedroom at the new place and found her and Andy in bed together. What a surprise. I have spoken to my lawyer, who informed me that yes it is still classed as adultery even though we are separated. Though I would be hard pressed...
