They gut the IRS so much I doubt they would do much. If you notice they don't even deal with lost taxes not paid. They have been understaffed for years. The Republicans surely won't fund for more tax cops.

Baby Doc is back in Haiti. What the police there should do is just take him somewhere and end him.

Now that's a dictator. Supported by us, obviously. Sigh.

Hey Frank,
You can find a lot of Chomsky talks, as well as Zinn, Vidal, Moyers, Roy and others over at http://www.alternativeradio.org
I just heard a Chomsky talk on global warming today, on their radio show, which is aired on my local public radio station, out of Albany, NY. It was quite a talk, and Chomsky was correct, as usual.

They never use the term "teacher," only Union, because they know that Union doesn't poll very well: Blame the rights' thirty years of propaganda.

Unions make stronger citizens, this is why. They want citizens to be distracted by beer commercials, with comely models with fake tits.

Demand will bring back jobs, since business is concerned demand will remain behind for quite some time.

People are saving money, not spending it. This means prices will lower, but jobs will also be cut to make up the shortfall. The only way to get demand back in the overall economy is to have government spending, but that is verboten at this hour. Expect sluggish growth for a long time.

NEWS FLASH!!!
ZOMG! Countdown with Keith Olbermann is done. Last show tonight.
Comcast merger okayed Wednesday, Keith's contract "not renewed" Friday.
Coincidence? I don't think so.

Excellent analysis of why he might have departed.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/yblog_thecutline/20110122/ts_yblog_thecutline/why-is-keith-olbermann-out-of-msnbc

My guess is that he's going to end up on CNN.

I've recovered.

I do think this may end up being a good thing. Olbermann's creativity was stifled by the restraints of MSNBC, on what guests he could have on or what topics he was allowed to mention. CNN or whatever may give him more elbow room.

Rachel Maddow and Lawrence O'Donnell tend to play the game.

You have guys like Scarborough making little comments on his show, obviously directed towards Olbermann and others, while Olbermann never once went after the idiocy of Morning Shmoe.

I have good thoughts now about this. This is my new idealistic faze.
