When was this evil you site dealt with in America? I think I may have missed that one. We have gotten away with murder since day one.

The bomb killed a lot more people than Dorner did, but we treat foreign policy different. Utterly odd. Dead is dead, tragedy is tragedy.

The drone murders are as immoral as the killer who uses a gun. More, because states are under even stricter laws. Or should be.

"We" who?

Obviously. Us and Them, there has for EVERY country been an Outside that gets treated differently. I can understand the desire to hold America to a higher standard, because of what we've always claimed we've stood for, but you tend to go on as if everyone else in the world is made up of teddy bears and pussy cats.

The drone murders are as immoral as the killer who uses a gun. More, because states are under even stricter laws. Or should be.

That's a nonstatement since by the metric you seem to use all killing is immoral. Interestlingly, the drones seem to be killing fewer per strike than our old "smart" bombs did, but I agree with the sentiment. If you're going to kill an enemy you should do it with boots on the ground.

I am on record as being anti-evil, except for Steve Evil. :)

The world's evil gives me fits and starts, but our evil can only be controlled by us.

Looks like there's another secret slush fund for right wing causes. The charity is called Donors Trust. They fund much of the new right. The Dark Money ATM of the Right:

The irony is Obama will allow the Keystone Pipeline because of this secret organization that obviously hates the big O.

Good critique of Amy Goodman from PBS/AOL:

She almost died in East Timor. You know who sent in the guns? Yep. Us.

Kudos to Rapheal Correa, for winning again in Equador. I guess the media doesn't agree:

http://www.fair.org/blog/2013/02/19/the ... presidents

Could you imagine if Romney had won by that much?

The people there must like his "autocratic" style or why keep voting for him?

Imagine if our media just talked to the critics of Obama and not the supporters, even after winning! Our idiotic media. They got to go!

Frank, at one point you were lamenting the lack of cheap high-speed internet bandwidth in America, citing Europe as the example we should follow. I can't remember the specifics or take the time to find your post, but I thought you might find this interesting.

The below article explains why the model isn't working in Europe and demonstrating from a business standpoint why there needs to be a middle road instead of one way or the other.

Barber, don't forget Europe is undergoing austerity, so they are not subsidizing their shit as much. We have a central bank, another thang.

Corporations there bitch because they see the major bank ours make because we let them loot the pockets of cable and phone customers. As with most corporations they want the kind of money ours make.

They always bitch about competition--the usual bellyaches from their ilk.

The government here should fund fiber optics and make the companies pay some of it. We need real reform. Austerity is a crime.

Did you read the article, or just make assumptions on content?

You really ought to read it.

Seems Argo was a big lying piece of shit:

http://www.wideasleepinamerica.com/2013 ... -argo.html

This is substantial, because Affleck and George Clooney are big time libs. They even give the CIA props they didn't deserve, that it was Canada who were the heros--Canada! Steve Evil, take a bow.
