I vote we put Frank in charge.

Nothing sobers up a malcontent like being thrust into a position of responsibility.

:)

Of course there would be purges and show trials and re-education camps but I have every confidence it would be a passing phase.

The Board would soon wither away and before you could say "Spammer" we would be ass-deep in poster's paradise.

Oh I don't know about that. I mean, the banners might all turn purple, but I wouldn't expect much more than that.

Keepin' my fingers crossed.

Hear, hear! Hope you find something that works for you and you get to stay over there and preserve the opportunity to tell us more about how things look over there.

As for the other Steve, I haven't offered my explicit defense and support of his moderation because it has been an excellence that goes pretty much without saying . . . just as some of the blather that goes on here is simply beneath notice. I try to accentuate the positive and stay out of the negative except when it simply gets overwhelming. Then I'll take a quick tactical shot and get the hell out without bogging down, unlike most Presidents with their "quick, clean military operations. . . "
War is, at first, the hope that one will be better off; next, the expectation that the other fellow will be worse off; then, the satisfaction that he isn't any better off; and, finally, the surprise at everyone's being worse off. - Karl Kraus

David, it is you who are simply beneath notice, much beneath everyone's notis; when someone else gets to be in charge here, we'll remember who kissed Barber's ass.

Barber has no sound policy for "board spammers", he summarily dismisses their contributions and deletes without mercy what he doesn't understand.

Barber, I give you this, a promising drummer you found there.
A much better example: Stanley Clarke & Ronald Bruner Jr., Drum & Bass "Bad Asses" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-iuO8S9nxhU
Barber has an eye for talent. Combined with my taste, I think we'd make a good team. I think Cris's vocals would sound good over this song.

LOL.

Nah, Jan is just frustrated because I deleted a few actual porn shots the spammers posted before he could properly evaluate their sociological significance. I personally don't think the tape measure was warranted, Jan. But if yiou hadn't spent that time rummaging around in the closet to find it you would've seen the pics and similarly concluded that Debbie did, indeed, "Do" Dallas.
