I got a phone call last evening, which, in itself is a rarity, but what nearly caused me to flip out. It was Susan Ellison, who wanted to ask me about my book/audio order. It appears that some of the stuff that is posted on the website is no longer available, and she wanted to know if I wanted substitutions. So I posted it in the pavillion, and thought that that was it...

Even rarer, I got a phone call earlier this evening (wow two phone calls in two days) from Susan!

Let me tell you... Harlan has one gem there. He better take good care of her, or I'll have to go over there and ream him a couple of new ones, after I kick his ass over the mountains he's living in, and into the Pacific Ocean!

Some of the books are also unavailable, so I just told her to surprise me. I told her not to rush things on my account, if she was laid up with the bad foot. She seemed rather insistent on getting it done. We will see. I guess that she ships at the media rate USPS, which will take a couple of weeks to get, but I really hope that she rests, and doesn't hurt herself again. Oh well, but then I tend to babble.

But that's not the end of it...
I can't remember when the last time was that someone called me, and didn't have a computer problem that they wanted me to fix!
THAT'S the REAL kicker!

It's not that it didn't belong. It's just that we've tried that approach before. Frank only listens to Human Rights Watch and Amnesty Int when they criticize Israel.

ANY source should be taken with a grain of salt, until verified by several independent sources.

Steven Kinzer, a top expert on foreign policy mentions the fact that HRW is way too close to American government. They do tend to downplay American crimes, but are fair on Israel.

By the way Ezra I don't just rely on them when bashing Israel. Rememeber the Goldstone report?

What I did do was mention that there is conflicts in the reports HWR did on Venezuela. I covered them several months hence.

Mike, keep up.

Roc, you are back in my love hutch. That's right, independent investigation tends to get us the best facts. Power dizzies the conductor at the baton.

All prayers go out to Congresswoman Giffords. I will not say a thing. Don't want to politicize this at this juncture.

I worried about this.

What's to politicize? Just another in a long line of homegrown American lunatics. The real question is how come it's so easy for these sons of bitches to get guns?

It's so easy for people to get guns, because the second amendment is time and again misinterpreted.
"A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."

Do they mean people being each and every individual, or People as in the people as a group? The document in the National Archives has the word not capitalized, the copies sent to the states to be ratified, has capitalization. This could be one of the biggest errors that the Founding Fathers committed.

In my own, not so humble opinion, and in the context of the statement, I believe that the word people should be capitalized, and it should refer to a group, not an individual.

Needless to say, it's something that we Americans have been debating for all of our history.
