Alternet picked Chicago as one of the kinkiest cities in America. Bask in that glow Michael.

I'm scandalized! Portland isn't on there!

Of course, being scandalized over something like this is kind of an awkward position to take. But here in PDX we do nothing better than awkward positions.

That may be the most entendre-laden sentence I've ever written.

But then, how could we compete when we were up againts NY, Atlanta, and several tiny places that I'd never have heard of had it not been for that article.

Jeez, whenever I go on Alternet I have a dizzy spell. What's kinky about nudie bars and sex clubs? You want hardcore go to Boise, Idaho or Birmingham, Alabama. I mean what's kinkier than total abstinence until marriage or one man/one woman only?

Always nice to hear from Greta Christina, spreading the word.

Oh, I don't know, men who spend an entire weekend wearing leather and trying to prove to one another that they are more butch than the next guy?

Yeah but now you're past kink. You're talking out and out perversion. Hike!

I don't think like that. Just don't scare the horses. Seriously though as long as everyone knows what they're in for and no means no. That automatically eliminates children and animals who can't give consent by definition. Some forms of exhibitionism are annoying simply because it assumes I'm a potential audience.

As far as my own personal preferences (who what when where why), isn't hearing about somebody else's desires the most boring thing in the world?

Of course there was that Space Shuttle launch...

Mubarak in a cage, a delightful sight.

A certain country wanted to take him in. Sigh.

Yeah with a presiding judge appointed under Mubarak and a prosecutor appointed under Mubarak and the country still controlled by the same army as under Mubarak. Don't be fooled Frank. Show trial. To make people think things have changed when little has changed.
