double-ewe tee eff

Postby Rick Keeney » Thu Apr 24, 2014 9:04 pm

I read with aggravating ease essays by folk such as MARK HADEN FRAZER and am pissed that the ineffable writerly quality I see in his writing is so elusive for me. I don't know how people do it.

I get all stilted-sounding when I try. Then I get a crick in my who's-it from blowing smoke up folkses asses.

I should add that Chuck's presence always makes it easy to be nice.

I wish I could blush. :)

I must be alergic to chicory. Everytime I drink decaf I get diarrhea. Not that you guys wanted to know that. :)

You're right -- a tad too much info there.

But one question: What the bleeping bleepity ever-lovin' bleep is the point of decaf?

Same schtick as non-alcoholic beer or wine - that small subset that wants the flavor, but not the high octane.

Decaf is awful. Trust me, you can taste it.

That aftertaste cannot be denied.

In England they only drank instant. I just couldn't take it any longer!

Instant is - in old Valley girl idiom - gross to the max!

I realize coffee is second to tea in England, but I can't believe - and never knew - they were into that Instant shit! I assume that isn't the case in restaurants.

In any region, I'm surprised the stuff has enough customers to keep it on the shelves at all. Ugh!!!

I find Taster's Choice (freeze-dried crystals, not instant) perfectly drinkable.

Please keep in mind, Rob: Very short leash.

Nice is good. I am not in as forgiving a mind as Wyatt.

Steve, what are you talking about? You took that as sarcasm????

I happen to like Chuck. He is, indeed, one of the nicest people here.

That was on the level. As is everything else I've been saying.
