I stopped talking to Frank as well. Frank is always looking for trouble and will use any information against you.

Actually, I stopped talking to Frank because I was in New York already.

Update: Verizon says I will have an offer by this Friday. I rescheduled the interview with the DeathStar to Friday afternoon.

I will tell the "Q" tomorrow that I'm accepting another offer.

(I need to do something shortly, 'cause all those guys working on our bathroom are gonna want to be paid and my lottery ticket only won $8...)

And I continue to talk to Frank, as I just discovered this week that he is in Ohio, and I am only 17 minutes from Ohio.

Gotta be careful who you offend these days.

Jan, I do not, and quit being a wimp. Stand up to the boogie man--the boogie man becomes clay you can mold.

We love you here. You're our spider boy.

Frank, this comment scares me because there's a meaning to Spider Boy in my life that you couldn't possibly know about.

Lori, this is MY thread. Mine, mine mine!!!

Send Frank a PM if ... err, well, I guess that won't work.

Frank?

I am supposed to get a call and fax tomorrow morning with a formal offer from Verizon for the job I wanted. Start date one week hence.

Oh my god. Don't fall for the old "We'll call you" routine. We thought you had SOME life experience. They wanted you off their premises, Steve.

And the word is...employed.

Vz called just after noontime with the offer, which I accepted.

I (re-)start Monday the 15th.
