This is a quiet board.

Like a library.

Right now I'm reading Poul Anderson's The Queen of Air and Darkness (in an anthology) and The Portable James Joyce.

My son is being forced to read The Scarlet Letter in his HS English class right now, and he hates the book. After reading some of the comments here, I look forward to reading it (for the first time!) for pleasure after he's done reading it under duress.

Didn't think James Joyce could be portable. Does it come with a dolly?

To despense witht he nonsense. SOmetimes this board gets a bit quiet. Then something will tweak someone's gonads and things perk right up.

Just give it some time. If you can't do that, at least post something you think others will respond to.

Peace out

Lori

Don't get me wrong, Lori-With-an-I--the peace and quiet is welcome. Gonad-tweaking you can get anywhere.

Should that girlfight ever occur, I think Mr. Barber's skills would come in quite handy for documentation purposes
Governments, if they endure, always tend increasingly toward aristrocratic forms. No gov't in history has been known to evade this pattern. And as the aristocracy develops, gov't tends more and mroe to act exclusively in the interests of the ruling class

So, Mark and Frank...if you were in a Fellini movie, who would you be...and why?

"Pitchers! Getcher pitchers here!"

Might open a whole new category for my on my website.

It would need password access, of course...
- I love to find adventure. All I need is a change of clothes, my Nikon, an open mind and a strong cup of coffee.

This is all very, very immature.

I will need that link, once it's up. For research.
