Dylag, I was talking about the Fog, not Them. I have never seen Them.

You were talking about a scary scene where a shadow goes across the wall. Cat People has a better scene with a shadow. I was funnin ya.

That's even more confusing. What's the Fog got to do with Cat People? There's no cat to be seen!

Dude, the shadow on the wall was from Them. And the shadow wasn't what was scary. It was the noises in the desert. Trust me, Them did it best.

The early scene, where the one cop stays behind in the wrecked house. And night falls. And the wind blows. And he hears. .

And he goes outside to check. And we see his shadow passing along the wall.

Okay, now I'm thoroughly confused. Frank hasn't seen THEM! so could not have made this connection to The Fog.

My mind, which is currently fried a nice shade of charcoal, isn't pulling any scene like this in either version of Cat People.
- I love to find adventure. All I need is a change of clothes, my Nikon, an open mind and a strong cup of coffee.

There were shadows, but nothing of the policeman going into a house and wandering into the shadows and shooting his gun while silhouetted against a wall.

But, it's been a couple of decades since I saw the Lewton version, and that was on an old movie channel...

Just the shadows guys, just the shadows. No need to be confused.

But it can be fun.

Ye Gods! Let's go back to my first post:

Fog, music, Hal Holbrook .. .

I was reffering to The Fog, a movie I enjoy.

Then I said:

Moving right along

And then went on about cops and shadows and deserts. That was about Them! one of my all time favourites. Shoulda made the change of topic more clear I suppose. My bad.

Then Frank said:

Dylag, I liked it better when it was called Cat People.

So fine, maybe the confusions was all my fault. But I still deny anyone ripped off Cat People
