A Morning's Dose of Hi8

Postby kevinkirby » Tue Dec 30, 2008 8:43 pm

Just to catch the light of the "magic hour" this morning, shortly after dawn and before the fogbank took over, I went out to catch a few final frames with the old Hi8 (before it gets traded in for an almost-as-old MIniDV) camera.

It's music:

My new opening logo may be of some interest here; but hopefully not too much so...

Of course, it would be a very easy matter to remove it, should such a thing prove necessary.

Traffic is one group that might play well with highway footage. Also, there may actually be some Traffic videos in youtube; posted without consulting the group.

This particular camera/auto-editor test footage was set to music whose owner got notified, and he quite possibly will contact me about removing the song.

That's one of the numbers I've done on a karaoke outing. Love that wonderful spine-chilling chord on the outro of the original studio version. (Wonder what it is?)

My lifetime total of karaoke songs is up to 84. Hope to hit 100 this year.
War is, at first, the hope that one will be better off; next, the expectation that the other fellow will be worse off; then, the satisfaction that he isn't any better off; and, finally, the surprise at everyone's being worse off. - Karl Kraus
