Repent, Timberlake, Said the Man
It's perhaps not surprising that they would blithely try to slip yet another adaptation past the rights people. Can we hope for some spoilers here, which may be perhaps less-so revealing for those lucky multitudes who have already read it in the original?

All right, I'll admit it. I'm definitely going to see this.
I'm well aware of Harlan's lawsuit, but the reviews I've read lead me to believe that no significant lifting of plot or characters has taken place. Of course, that may well change once I've seen the movie.
I'm sure the director of Gattaca and S1m0ne is certainly savvy enough to not commit plagiarism. In fact, most reviews state he didn't do enough with the characters and the world he created. Leonard Maltin, no stranger to Harlan, panned the movie without mentioning Harlan's name.
We'll see!
